Tutorial Tuesday -CD Case Frame

Yes another photo idea!
I love paper and using my family photos around the house.

I didn't invent this idea but I wanted to show how easy it can be
to make a fun changeable photo frame.

Empty CD jewel case -just pop out the plastic insert that holds the cd

Decorative papers

Scissors and Ruler (paper trimmer would be easier)

Photos -cropped and trimmed

2 strong magnets

E6000 glue

*Cut your papers to fit the inside of the frame
(just a smidge smaller than 4.75 x 5.5 inches)

*Glue photo and papers

*Glue magnets to the back of the frame

*When dry, just pop in the papers.

magnets on the back

on the fridge

You can rotate the photo you see each day. More photos can be added and updated with ease. Each CD case holds 6-8 photos depending on if you decide to embellish them. There are tons of great ways to add to your photos. Walk through a scrapbook store and drool! *grins*
The more you add in extras, the less photos that will fit.

This is perfect for the office, especially for a cubicle dweller. The frame can sit on the desk (if there is room) or it can hang by the magnets.

There are many other variations of this idea online. Here are just a few:

or make it into a calendar with personal photos
