On The Road: November 5, 2009 Edition

Look who's hitting the road this weekend:

Molly Bernier, of Whimsy House and The Vintage Flirt, will be at the 28th Annual Friends of the Cambridge Library Arts and Crafts Fair at Cambridge High School in Cambridge, WI (home to Rowe Pottery) on Saturday, November 7 from 9 am to 3 pm. This event will feature 91 high quality artists, a raffle from local businesses, live music, craft demonstrations and a bake sale. Admission is Free. Whimsy House will be selling jewelry and accessories fashioned from upcycled vintage findings as well as felted wool brooches. Molly will be sharing a booth with Prettifications and The Fairy Garden / Storyline Design

Heidi Duss, of Storyline Design, will be at The Madison Holiday Market at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison, WI on Friday, Nov., 6th from 10a-5p. This event is the ultimate shopping extravaganza featuring over 130 merchants and an expected 7,500 shoppers. Friday Evening Special Event: Happy Hour, 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm. Admission is $7.00 - Show your parking receipt and save $5! For safety reasons strollers, rolling carts, rolling bags, wagons, and pets are not allowed. Special Stroller Day: Fri, Nov 6th only. Storyline Design will be selling bottlecap necklaces, funky and unique coasters, NEW zipper pulls, magnets and buttons!

Judi Ruedy, of Apollo Hills Crafts will be at the Country Christmas Craft and Gift Show at Sparta Senior High School (corner of Hwy 21 and 27) in Sparta, WI on Saturday, November 7 from 9 am to 4 pm. This event will feature 275 booths, handicapped parking, and lunch items available for purchase. Proceeds will be used to preserve Monroe County’s rich historical artifacts and records. Admission and parking are free. Judi will be selling her quilted bags, purses, totes, bed quilts, couch throws and other items. Look for her booth in the gym.

Jackie Klish, of Glass Goddess Jewelry , will be at the St. James Catholic Church Holiday Show in Mukwanago, WI this Saturday, Novemer 7. Jackie will be showing her wire sculpted pendants with Swarovski crystals, cubic zirconia, art glass buttons, and also, her new like of vintage style fairy flower earrings.

Country Soaps by Marlene will be in Fond du Lac at the Country Fair Holiday Show Nov. 7 from 9-3. This is held at the fair grounds. Admission is $1.00/person. Marlene will be bringing her full line of goats milk soaps, lotions, wax tarts and melting pots, and other bath related items.

Kim Lapacek, of Kim’s Crafty Apple and The Apple, will be at the Christmas Market at the Travel Center in Belmont, WI (Off Hwy 151, Ext 26) on Saturday, November 7th from 8am until 5pm. Items featured include Christmas decor and gifts, quality handmade items, primitives, Quilts, Quilts and more Quilts, including table runners, wall hangings, large and lap quilts, baby quilts and everything in between, quilting items, including fabric, quilt kits, patterns and LOTS of fabulous Hand Dyed Fabric, jewelry by Kim Lapacek from The Apple and hand made baskets by Becky Donahoe.
